Community Based Medical College Bangladesh

Admission policy is changeable from time to time which is notified in national dailies, by the ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. Twenty five percent of seats are reserved for foreign students. Eligibility of admission for session 2011 - 2012 :

1. SSC (not before 2006) and HSC (not before 2008).

Total GPA = 8, but not below GPA-4 in either SSC or HSC.

A written test MCQ type covering the HSC syllabus on Physics, Chemistry, Biology and general knowledge and English shall be held. Results of tests shall be published in college Notice Board.

Submission of Application:

Application in prescribed Form (to be taken from the office of the Principal on payment of TK. 1,500/00) must be filed with the under noted documents and deposited in time with another TK. 1000/= for examination.

• 1. A character certificate from the Head of the institute last attended.
• 2. A nationality certificate from a gazetted officer or a person of good reputation and social standing.
• 3. Attested Photostat copies of mark-sheets of both SSC and HSC examination.
• 4. Attested Photostat certificate of SSC examination.
• 5. Attested Photostat provisional certificate of HSC examination.
• 6. Three copies of recent Passport sized coloured photograph of the candidate.

Original documents must be produced at the time of admission.

Selection of candidates shall be based on the results of admission tests and marks of HSC and SSC examination. Candidates selected through admission test must qualify for fitness of health before a Medical Board. Subsidyin development fee studentship may be allowed to poor but meritorious students (combined GPA-9 but not below GPA-4 in HSC of SSC).
